What A Beautiful Weekend!

Oh Patrick....today is Sunday the day I used to call dad and review my week...well since I can't do that I decided to do this instead..Last Sunday my computer blew up and Jenna's was not being repaired until Wed. So I haven't been able to really "talk" to anyone except by real phone and this was a crazy week with appointments.Anyway I had dinner plans with Al & Mark and Harry and Jenna and her "new" boyfriend...another story another time. Al has been stressing over not giving me my Christmas presents as I was in Florida so much. we made these plans and determined to keep them.Of all days...I was invited to breakfast that day and after returning home from that there was a message inviting me to lunch. Lol! Maddie and I feasted!!! So we go to dinner...Al gave me a St. Patrick's statue and an Our Father plaque and....a texas hold-em game. Now someone had a mass said for dad today at noon but I had Kate's baby shower at noon so I went to mass last night. I ran into my sister-in-law Mary Jo.I go to the shower Tony & Dawn drove me. We pull up and I say hey this is the house we came to the Christmas party with Uncle Patrick isn't it? Yep!and who's there??? Roger and Pete. Of course Marlana...I had the most awesome time. Meeting Krista and Kate's parents and brother...her dad is a riot!!!! Her mother a doll. it was beautiful. Now remember when I jokingly said back at the holidays that Marlana and Kate took Thanksgiving and Christmas and left me Easter...Well I am going to try and pull it off. Only we are adding Pete and Roger to the group. I really had fun with them to. MiMosas will have to be included on the menu for Pete made by Marlana who said Patrick taught her how to make them! Isn't it fun getting blamed for good stuff? The mimosas were tasty!!1 LOL! Then we were off to Finnigan's Pub for Marlana's softball fundraiser. But not before I gave a loud couquie before getting in the car....remember? lol! The band was awesome the food was good and Marlana's friends were great once again! I even drank beer. LOL!
I get home and my sister-in-law Mary Jo called to tell me a story about an angel she has been trying to purchase for me since the Christmas you came home...another long story. Anyway she got it and wanted me to know the story and I felt the tears well up once again remembering that my family always find a way to let me know they are still here and reassuring me that all is good and sharing good times and memories
and laughter helps ease the pain while making another memory to add to the many we were able to create while you were here. Thanks Patrick for bringing all this love laughter & friendship into my life.I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU..(Kiss mom and dad for me)
